I learned that homonyms sound alike andhomophones mean the same thing but are spelled differently.
this book was about shapes color and the alphabet.like C is for circles it was a very cool book i learnd that there is alot of books that goses with the alphabet.
428.1 BRE My Teacher Likes to Say.. This book has expressions like "two heads are better than one" and "the early bird gets the worm." But my favorite one was "Great Oakes start from a tiny seed." It means you start out small but you'll get bigger and bigger
Good book about idioms. I don't think a kid would read this for fun,but it would be good for a teacher to use to teach the concept. It had some good examples with some pretty funny pictures. Plus it was written by the guy who played Herman Munster.
this book is a cute funny book about how if you were alliterations you would be so many different things. i wouldnt think that this is a six grade book just because of the pictures. but i still liked it alot!!!

apostrophes are used to write about something that belongs to someone! the Apostrophe os uesd with the letter S. An Apostophe can make to words! It takes the place of missing letters!
The Dove Dove 428.1 Ter I enjoyed this book. I think it makes understanding homographs easier when they are used in a riddle or joke. This book should actually be used in a reading class.
French for Beginners 448 Wil My book French for Beginners is about teaching you how to speak French so when you go t France you already know. I learned that goo night in French is bonne nuit and goodbye is salut! So salut.

An adverd can be a time, place, and it can put more thought into a verb/adjective. not much kids would think of reading it but hey, someone has to.
