This is one of our largest sections in the library. You can find books on math, the planets, animals, electricity, weather, plants, or chemistry.

I loved this book I learned some really cool stuff! like whales dont have teeth they have broom type teeth! Some female whales die while migrating and if they are pregnant the baby dies to! the females spend two months in the water migrating! no one knows how long they rest or stop to eat. They travel 5 miles an hour. there skin feels like glass and it is very thin. When the babys are first born they grow 400 to 500 pounds a day! :)
The Best of Times by Greg Tang is a book of poems on tricks to multiplying. I try to teach my students tricks to deal with math and reading. This book is a good one to learn math tricks if you can't remember your times table.
endangered butterflies is really cool. i love all the picture of the butterflies, especially the leafwing butterfly. i love all differant colors especally the blue

i learned that dolphins love to jump beside boats to play with people. when the ma'am dolphins have the dolphins other dolphins help the mom dolphin bring the baby dolphin to land.
This book is disgusting because it showed yucky pictures that grossed me out. But I kind of like this book. I learned that bugs have a good reason to land on you sometimes for their food like blood. Once again I like this book.

Killer Bees 595.199 My book Killer Bees is about where they live and all that. I learned that a bee can chase up to one mile and they will wait on you if you jump in the water.
What i thought was cool and sad was that they had to tranquilize the Pandas to move them to a bamboo forest.I think that they shouldn't kill aligators just for money because they help clean the swamp.They should not make alot but still make some so the fishis can swim.

Killer Birds 598 Ste My book Killer Birds is about birds that kill other birds. I learned that the monkey killer lives in the Philipine Islands and they eat squirrels, birds and dogs.
this book is about not only the tarantulas but some other animals too. like the dart frog and how it has very hairy legs? who would think that a frog would have hairy legs not me! you should really check out this book!!!!
Super Hero Science 500 San My book Super Hero Science is about how people describe superheros from real life. I learned that Superman is one of the most powerful superheroes.
Frogs 597.8 it shows you the life cycle of a frog for like science. It also shows diffrent kind of frogs they are? It also tells you what the frogs eat or what there predator is.
When Tree Frogs jump they spread out there finger's and toe's so they could stay in the air longer than they should.Cool right!!!!! Also the White Tree Frogs pupils go side to side instead of like the other frogs eyes going side to side.
Sharks 597.3 Mil My book Sharks is about fascinating sharks and different species of sharks. I learned that sharks live below the reef and over the reef. Sharks are many different sizes and shapes.
Canyon Hunters 551.49 Gan My book Canyon Hunters is about canyons. I learned that there are canyons under water that have carvings of ancient people in the walls.
Tarantulas 595.4 McA I loved this book I learned some cool stuff! most tarantulas bite people but their bite is not harmful but there are some tarantulas that there bites are very harmful you could die! They have a body part called a chelicerae that is one each side of the tarantulas mouth! They help them tear apart their food! A tarantula has spinnerets at the end of its abdomen. A spinnerets is a body part that spins liquid silk into threads. They look like tails! I loved this book soooo much!
Rattlesnakes 597 Tow My book Rattlesnakes is about rattlesnakes. I learned that rattlesnakes are poisonous. They rattle their rattle when they sense danger. They eat rats, lizards, birds and small animals. Rattlesnakes stay cool under rocks.
This wost a pritty long and good book. It had some interesting facts like what all the fossel looked like and what that dinosaur did. Also it told you what kind it was.
