Birds, Beasts and the Third Thing is a collection of poems by DH Lawrence. The artists Alice and Martin Provensen chose the poems and did artwork to go with them. The poems are pretty short. I like the poem about the white horse the best and I like the illustration also. I like the line in the poem "People" that says, "I like people quite well at a distance." That's how I like my people.

I think this book is great because it tells you about food and how it was made. They also make fuunny pictures to make it more understanding. At the end they give you a jumprope rhyme to say when you are jumproping.
Confetti had the most beautiful poems in the world! Most of the poems were rythems a few were not. The one poem that gave off more scenery was A Morning Song!

this book i did not like. im not an easter poem type of girl and i thought that is was about easter poems not actually poems. but i still read the book and i thought the author did an amazing job at coming up with so many different discussions.but if your a poem type of person you should get this book there are many cool poems.
This book wasn't that funny but still a good book. here is a joke.Why didn't the dinosaur cross the road? There were no roads. Like I said there not the greatest jokes ever.
This book was great! I learnd some really cool stuff! In World War I soldiers carried pocket-sized songbooks that had the song, America the Beautiful!! This book has the song in the back of the book! So I learned about it and i also learned the song! that was great!
Half Minute Horrors 808.8 Hal My book Half Minute Horrors is about this dog having a mutant babysitter and he takes him out of the movies with a bunch of other mutants. I learned not to have a babysitter.
Frankenstein Makes a Sandwich 811Dex My book Frankenstein Makes a Sandwich is about Frankenstein wants to make a sandwich so he goes and gts stuff to make one and then he becomes a lunch person. He was always hungry and was a zombie. He found a school of weird people and became a lunch person.
I raed a poetry book that was so cute!!!!! It was about all kinds of animals. Also I learned alot of things about poetry like a simile is somethimg using the words "like" or "as".
Poems for Fathers 811 Poe My book Poems about Fathers is about poems for fathers that kids wrote about their fathers. I learned that I liked the poem about Father Williams could do a perfect back flip and his son talked about it.
Always Got My Feet 811 Sal My book Always Got My Feet is about always having feet so you can go wherever you want. I learned that if you have feet you can do what ever you want to do.

My book America the Beautiful is about different places you can go in America, just like the song. I learned that America is a really good country to live in. All the different places you can go in America.
the old-fashioned children's storybook this story has alot of old storys in it. theres a story about a princess and a frog and most of it is like the same of the way its toled but instead of her kissing the frog she thew it aganst the wall and thats how it turned into a price. it also have a story the goes like 1,2 buckle my shoe and so on.
