Deadly Lizards by Shane McFee 597.9 MCF
It is interesting that coyotes and large birds eat Gila Monsters and the Mexican beaded lizard. Gila Monsters can live up to 20 years and Mexican beaded lizards can live over 30 years.

COOL CATS BY BETH ADELMAN Did you know cats like catnip ? You need to take your cat to the vet for a check up. Its ok to give your cat dairy products buts not ok to give your cat sweets. Cats eyes glow in the dark. cats claws are shaped like a crescent moon !!!!
This is a cool motorcycle book. Some people cover thier bikes in furry stuff, add pockets, and paint it a different color.A bike with one wheel is called monocycle.This is a cool book.
"Magic School Bus: Lost in the Solar System" by Joanna Cole 523.3 Col
This book tells about the cycle of the solar system. My fun fact from the book is that they get to go into space and look up close and see the solar system. I liked this book.
I learned that choppers are not the same as other motorcycles. The choppers are usually built from ground up and can reach up to at least 130 miles per hour. Choppers are made for people that have long arms. Many owners like a flashy paint job that attracts attention. Oh yeah, I liked the book.
"Diamondback Rattlesnake" By James E. Gerholdt 597 Ger
I learned that all snakes are cold-blooded and I learned that there are two types of diamondback Rattlesnakes. They are called eastern diamondback and western diamondback rattlesnake. A rattlesnake rattle has loose pieces of the rattle that rubs against each other when the snake shakes its tail. It is telling the enemy to go away.
The book tells about how Gila Monsters eat. They are the most poisonous lizards. They are related to the beaded lizards. You should read this book. It tells a lot of facts.
What Happens at the Zoo? by Judith Rinard National Geographic 590.74NAT This was a good book to show you what happens at Zoos and how they take care of their animals. The picture of the Snow Leopard named Lama getting weighed was so cute.
Earthquakes by neil morris 551.22 Iliked this book because i love science my favorite part was when the people died. the saddest part was that people suffered.
Tasmanian Devils Sandra Markle 599.2 mar This was a great book but there was one thing that really suprised me. Did you know that Tasmanian devils have pouches for the babies to nurse in? Just like kangaroo.

Dophins are extremely friendly. They will not hurt you in any way. I liked this book because it tells you a lot about dolphins. It is sad that 25 dolphins in a year get killed for tuna.

I learned that frogs breathe through it's moist skin as well as through it's lungs. The toad grows to be about the size of a small cat. The midwife toda does not lay its eggs in water like a frog. A poison arrow frog is one of the deadliest anmals in the world.

I have seen these birds from the book in my yard....Eastern Bluebirds, Cardinals, Mourning Dove, Peregrine Falcone, Lesser Godlfinch (not the American Goldfinch), Hummingbird, White Ibis (actually in the pasture), Dark-Eyed Junco (my husband calls them snow birds because we only see them when it snows), Mockingbird (my favorite), Nuthatch, Phoebe, Quail, Roadrunner (well my other favorite - he really does go 'beep, beep'!), Scissortail Flycatcher, Tufted Titmouse, Carolina Wren, and Zebra Bird which is actually a red-bellied woodpecker.
