Stampede: Poems to Celebrate the Wild Side of School by Laura Purdie Salas 811 SAL
This is a really funny poetry book. It talks about all kinds of funny things that happen at school like being hungry in class and looking goofy on picture day.
Can't reach the itch... Poetry For Children and the Young at Heart by Joe Larke 811 LAR This book had some good poems in it. I loved the one about the old lawn mower and the one about giving someone a breath mint.

Bunny Rabiit is a really good book. It has poems. The rabbit is my favorite animal in this book. He is funny. This book is really good. You should read this book. My favorite part is where they get chicken pox and the everybodygets chicken pox. The mom is trying to teach bunny how to eat.
The Cuckoo's Haiku by Michael Rosen and illustrated by Stan Fellows
This is my favorite non-fiction book in the library. The drawings are very pretty. Haiku is my favorite poetry to write. It seems very simple but it is actualy hard to do. My favorite bird in this book is the cuckoo on the cover. My husband's grandfather always told me that cuckoos sit on their nests backwards and I believed him. Now which way is really backwards? Give me a duh!!!!
I learned about monsters. Have you heard of Frankenstien? I read a book about Frankenstien making a sandwich, and how he went to make a sandwich and people were throwing food at him.
This book is about a man that eats and drinks. A big man ate a big sandwich and when he got done eating he was fat. Then another man was drinking root beer and he was drunk off root beer.
Have you ever been to the Grand Canyon? I have not gone to the Grand Canyon but I want to. I think it is a really beautiful place. There are all kinds of animals.that live there. I think that it is cool that people from a while ago they drawed some things to say something.
I learned in this book there is baseball. The team was losing was mad. The tema that was winning was happy when they switched sides. I learned this book was fine.
